A few of the Cities nice to visit in Algarve, every saterday morning there are markets in most cities.
 
Silves, located close by Villa Paraiso, contains a Moorish castle and its nice to drink just a coffee or walk to the small streets.

Lagos, contains a castle city walls, old fort next to the river, beautifull old churches, and dont forget to visit the sea cliffs at Ponte de piedade.

Albufeira, not everybodys piece of cake...very touristic, the old town contains many shops, the new part contains the strip, in summer a populaior place to go out, mostly you see plenty loud and drunk people.

Ferragudo, small place. nice to combaine with a dolfin tour, fishermen village at the end of the boulevard you can pass trough the houses and and up on the beach with further on a nice castle.

Tavira, one of the oldest cities still looking old, nice to visit, contains bridges over rivers, old buildings and castle walls.

Cabo de São Vicente, not a city but always visited by our geusts, known as the end of the world and lies on Europe most southern tip.

Alvor, nice fishermen village with large promenade along the river full of boats from the fishermens.
 
Portimão, not my kind of thing but some people like the beach at praia the rocha with many beach bars.

Monchique, known for the vieuwing point at Foia, monchique itself is not intresting better is to stop way up at Caldas de Monchique a very old welness resorts with intresting nature and buidlings.
 
Carveiro, specialy nice to visit at night because of the many restaurants, dont forget to visit Algar seco on the sea side!

Armação de Pêra, is located 3km from Villa Paraiso, Armação itself is not interesting but the long boulevard with on the end the fishermens is nice for a walk, also it has wide broade beaches and a part is used as nude beach.
 
Loule, is a big city and lies more inland, the centre is nice and also it has a bigger market.

Faro, the capital of Algarve sinds the 18th century, the old part by the harbour known as the old city, is still surrounded by old city walls and is worthe a visit.
 
Villa real de Santo Antonio, nice designed capital from 1774 to impress the spanish with a boulevard along the river facing Spain, the fort at Castro Marim is famous with a proud military history.
